Jordan Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

JORDAN VISA: Effective March 19, 2023, Jordan has discontinued issuance of Stamp Visas and implemented new E-Visa service for Tourist and Business.


E-Visa Requirements
  • Jordan E-Visa:

    Jordan E-Visa:

    • A color copy of the data page of your passport (pp 2-3). Please make sure that your passport has at least six months validity beyond the travel date. If you need help securing, renewing, or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
    • Application Form.

Tourist Visa Requirements
  • TOURIST VISA:

    Effective March 19, 2023, Jordan has discontinued issuance of Stamp Visas and implemented new E-Visa service for Tourist and Business.

    • Submit your signed passport having two (2) completely blank “visa” pages and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing, or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
    • Application Form, fully completed and signed.
    • One(1) Professional, High-Resolution passport-type photo, taken within 6 months on complete white background without any shadows. Photo should be 2”x 2” with front view, no smiling, and no glasses. (DO NOT STAPLE)
    • Contact Form – Click HERE to print.
    • Non-US citizens must submit a copy of Green Card (Alien Registration Card)  or another document that proves a legal status in the US (valid visa along with I-94 in passport).

    Note: Jordan Visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issue, Single Entry.


Business Visa Requirements
  • BUSINESS VISA

    Effective March 19, 2023, Jordan has discontinued issuance of Stamp Visas and implemented new E-Visa service for Tourist and Business.

    • Submit your signed passport having two (2) completely blank “visa” pages and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
    • Application Form, fully completed and signed.
    • One(1) Professional, High Resolution passport type photo, taken within 6 months on complete white background without any shadows. Photo should be 2”x 2” with front view, no smiling, and no glasses.
    • Non-US citizens must submit a copy of Alien Registration Card (green card) or another documents that prove legal status in the US (valid visa along with I-94 in passport).
    • Contact Form – Click HERE to print.
    • Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary in each traveler’s name.
    • A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Jordan, Visa Section, Washington D.C.

    The letter must explain all of the following:

    • The purpose of travel
    • Business reference to be visited in Jordan
    • Guarantee financial support for the applicant while in Jordan
    • Return transportation to the U.S.A

GenVisa Service Fee:

$79.00 per visa (3-4 weeks).

  • Add $45 for expedited service within 21 days.
  • Add $65 for expedited service within 14 days.

 

Consular Fee:

  • $72.00 Per Visa – Single Entry valid for 2 months.
  • $102.00 Per Visa –  Double Entry valid for 3 months.
  • $192.00 Per Visa –  Multiple Entry valid for 6 months.
  • $165.00 Per Visa –  Multiple Entry valid for 5 years(US Passport Holders only).

Note: Consular Fee Includes $5.00 Money Order fee.


Optional insurance:
$12.00 per passport:
  • in the unlikely event that your passport is lost or damaged in transit. This will cover your full out of pocket visa(s) and passport replacement costs up to $2,000.

Continental USA Only:

  • $55.00 FedEx Letter (Next Business Day – up to three passports)
  • $48.00 FedEx 2nd Business Day
  • $85.00 FedEx Letter (Saturday Delivery)

Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands: 

Add $55.00 to the shipping fee chosen above

Notes About Our Jordan Visa & Passport Services

Visa fees are not refundable.
U.S. re-entry permits are not acceptable for travel to Jordan.
Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. GenVisa can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue or renewal.

Special requirements exist for U.S. Official and Diplomatic passport holders.

Send ALL the requirements above (and a check payable to Generations Visa) via traceable form of mail to the Generations Visa office immediately. GenVisa will hand-carry your application to the Embassy if applicable. Please allow at least 14 business days of processing time.
